Good quality but used when I received it.

I couldn't afford to pay full price for a used tool. This is an excellent quality instrument but it was in used condition, not as new as I thought I bought it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Poor instructions

It's important to have the right tool for the job

Bought to remove and reinstall a steering column bearing on a 1984 Kawasaki Ninja 900r and this tool worked perfectly. I'm glad I found that time and stress relief.

Pros
  • a handy piece
Cons
  • not as thick as other picks

Motion Pro Bearing Puller

Just used this to remove a bearing from my GT250R and it works great. It's a bit of a hassle having to remove the cage from the bearing first, but after that go ahead and just push it out. Makes the job a lot easier instead of using a chisel.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No Instructions

Excellent goods! Indispensable for hobby motorcycle mechanics!

Great product! This was very helpful in removing rusted and caked steering column bearings on my 2002 CRF 450R. Also ideal for installing a new rack bearing. Just be persistent with the rubber/plastic coated hammer during installation and you'll be spot on.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Absolutely worth it for bikers and lifters

I can't think of a better way to remove the lower bearing from the steering rack. My KTM has an aluminum stem, so there's no way I would try to pound or grind the bearing housing to get it off. It was a steep price for the tool, but it's very well made and a lot cheaper than having someone else do the work and risking it using the wrong method.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Powerful bearing removal tool

I recently had trouble removing a steering column bearing from a triple mount. The bearing is very tight, I bought it to be able to remove it more easily. (I bought this at a reduced price because it was an open box special). The tool worked fine. You might not need it often, but it's good to have in your toolbox. A spacer is also included for installing a new bearing using a hydraulic press.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

Too expensive and incomplete

This is also too expensive for what it is. Most steering stem bearings are tapered, which means that an old bearing race must also be removed and a new race installed in the frame. This tool won't do either, so at least two additional tools are needed to get the job done. To remove the bearing from the rack. That is only partly true. It will remove the inner race after you have already destroyed the bearing, which is necessary to get the job done as you will need to remove the cage and bearings

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Periodicity

Great product, shame we haven't used it yet.

I would return this great tool if I didn't have to get the job done sooner rather than later. It has obviously been used before. It arrived scratched and apparently repackaged with tape all over the product packaging. I'll definitely send it back next time. The product itself is great and works great. After watching a few mechanics on YouTube messing up steering racks with a chisel and hammer, I decided to use the right tool and I'm so glad I did. once and come back, you may reconsider your…

Works well but: Fluids and maintenance

Ok used it to replace the steering column bearings a few weeks ago. This is a reliable tool that makes installing a new bar cage very easy. However, it was useless for me to get rid of the old breed. The thing just won't budge. It might have been better to remove the old aftermarket road bike you already supplied after the stock road bike, but that didn't work at all for me with the stock stem bike. That's not to say there's anything wrong with the tool itself. I just think the OEMs set the…
