Bad batteries. The screen died after a year.

Everything is fine with this monitor. It had a little shrinkage/distortion because the screen's aspect ratio is odd. Although the picture was ok. The options were fine. The biggest downside is the batteries. They probably didn't last more than an hour, and if left connected to the monitor they will slowly drain due to the red light that stays on even when off. The final straw is that after running for just over a year it now has a bluish/dead screen and is unusable. I strongly advise against…

Not what I expected

I bought this monitor because it has a USB upgrade only to find out it's an old dinosaur connector (USB 2.0) and not a regular USB acts. I wanted a screen that I could run off my power bank because I hate creating content and my battery is dead. My DSLR is powered by the AC adapter and I wanted the screen to do the same, but 🤦🏾‍♂️! I even have USB 2.0 and the screen still won't turn on, it just turns blue. Wasting my time and money. I go back. Everything else is fine, turning the camera on…

Monitor - Okay! The sentence is bad.

I sincerely regret not having taken a picture of how this product arrived to me. All components were randomly thrown into a very worn Neewer box with the previous seals clearly clipped. Specifically, the monitor was in the box with no seals or packing material, and no screen protector. Not even a removable foil. Additionally, there were a few seemingly random cold-shoe mounts that simply rolled across the top of the screen, causing minor scratches. I hooked it up to my camera because at first I

Marginal at best

I don't usually write bad reviews, but this monitor set wasn't up to par. First - as some others have noted, when I turn the camera off and then back on, the colors get really weird when the monitor stays on. I have to turn off the monitor to get the colors back. 2nd - and this part is really annoying - the supplied HDMI cable broke off - the part going to the camera was still connected but the cable itself fell off. Funny how this magically happened overnight while just sitting on my desk…

Great for DSLR Stabilizer

I've wanted a field monitor for a long time, but the price puts me off. After reading the reviews and having good experiences with Neweer devices, I gave it a try - and I'm very glad I did! This is a very good monitor with some amazing extras. I use it on my Nikon D750 with Zhiyun Crane 2 with eachshot double grip. Each shot has threaded ends that connect perfectly with the included "magic hand" so I didn't have to use the included clamp. I didn't use the hot shoe mount that came with it, but…
