I don't usually write bad reviews, but this monitor set wasn't up to par. First - as some others have noted, when I turn the camera off and then back on, the colors get really weird when the monitor stays on. I have to turn off the monitor to get the colors back. 2nd - and this part is really annoying - the supplied HDMI cable broke off - the part going to the camera was still connected but the cable itself fell off. Funny how this magically happened overnight while just sitting on my desk - very cheap. Finally, as others have pointed out, the battery life is a joke. If you use it outside the home, DON'T FORGET the charger! Also, be sure to remove the battery from the monitor when not in use — even the little red power indicator quickly drains it when the monitor is off.
