Worked pretty well - has worked so far. I bought this keyboard in August 2017. In February 2018 it was broken. The "T" and "L" keys were sticky, causing the computer to register multiple keys. When I contacted CS ChallengerUSA they offered me a warranty replacement. But the catch was that I had to send the old keyboard back. I live in Southern California and I think it's pretty close to San Jose for an RMA, but USPS is charging me $18.90 for one-way shipping. It seemed a bit crazy for a…

She talks and didn't do real NKRO

I've thought long and hard about buying a mechanical keyboard, but the initial investment and not knowing how loud the different types of switches actually are put me off making the jump. It wasn't until my cat learned that by throwing herself at the number pad that she could practically prevent me from typing and petting her for the rest of my life, did I decide to take the plunge. I had concerns about this. the brightness of the keyboard as I have a computer in my bedroom and I was concerned…

Real mechanical keyboard under $40

EDIT see original 5 star review below: Took a year and a day. And then it expired. In the middle of a ranked match. In the absence of other problems with the computer. Part of the keyboard just died. I thought I had a bug on my hands and restarted but to no avail. I actually pulled out the Blackwidow that replaced this keyboard, plugged it in, and quit my game. I wish I could say I won, but life isn't always happy. ORIGINAL: I bought this to replace a very expensive Razer Blackwidow. One of the

Great keyboard for the price

I am quite critical of PC accessories and can say that this keyboard is worth the money due to the quality of the components and workmanship. The top plate is aluminum and the back is plastic. I can confirm that the switches are Outemu Blue switches and they are quite comparable to Cherry MX Blue switches. They have the same tactile feedback and "click". The backlight is great and I love the fact that it can be toggled on and off and the 10 levels of brightness. There are also plenty of…

I really like this keyboard

I really like this keyboard but wouldn't recommend it. Here are some highlights: PROS: + Sturdy metal construction, feels premium + LED is nice, has breathing/brightness options + Has 10 buttons + Low price CONS: - Very noisy, switches are more green same question; After a while, some keys started registering multiple times or not at all with a single keypress (e.g. the A key during gameplay. This is very important). I bought some quick drying electronics contact cleaner and sprayed it on the…

I loved this keyboard until I created the Carpal Tunnel

. Because of the height of the buttons, combined with weight, spacing, and setup, after 5 months of daily use, I went from "no pain, what is CT" to full effect, CT. I think the design of this keyboard made my condition worse and accelerated the severity with which it developed. Please note that I don't want to blame the keyboard. Because I really liked everything about this keyboard. Sound, lighting, responsiveness - this is truly a fantastic keyboard. Except ergonomic. This makes no claim to…

I was lost!

I've been using an old I-Rocks chicken style keyboard for 8 years and loved it, but I was looking for a replacement. As mechanical keyboards have become more and more popular over the last 5 years, I thought it was time to make a change and try one. I have to say I'm amazed and I've missed something all these years. The pressure is very pleasant. I felt like I was typing fast, but with this thing I feel like I'm a lot faster. It has some noise, like any mechanical keyboard, but it's very…

I loved this keyboard until I developed the Carpal Tunnel.

As a former professional musician turned programmer, I must have been prone to carpal tunnel. The height of the keys combined with the weight, spacing and setup, however after 5 months of daily use I went from "no pain what is CT" to full throttle, CT. I think the design of this keyboard made my condition worse and accelerated the severity with which it developed. Please note that I don't want to blame the keyboard.
