Easy migration between relational and non-relational data stores

I love that it's easy to get started with, very intuitive for users who are not familiar with databases or SQL. The product is designed well - you can see how everything fits together easily. It isn't perfect but we were able to make our transition from MySQL to Postgresql fairly painless as we moved along. Definitely check out their blog posts! They have some great tutorials which help explain things like indexes in an accessible way. We needed a scalable database platform that would support…

Pros
  • Good tooling around development environment using kubernetes e2e testing automation framework also helps create deployable artifacts automatically once code changeset readyfor
Cons
  • Good but not great

Quickly Create Database For New Projects

Tamr is a great tool for a lot of different use-cases. I can use it to quickly and easily create a report for a customer, or an internal use-case. I can also use the tool to quickly and easily create a database for a new project. I also like how easy it is to share the database with other users. The tool is easy to use, and the support is great. I wish that the tool was a little easier to use when it comes to the front end. Also, I wish that the tool had a bit more flexibility when it comes to

Pros
  • Easy way make databases
  • Great UX/UI interface
  • Support team has been helpful in resolving issues as needed
Cons
  • Frontend could be better
  • Backends have limited options

A great tool and platform where everyone will get up-to speed very easily

The ability to have everything in one place, searchable, organized by category/subcategory etc makes it easy for me to find what I am looking for without having to go through several different screens of information. It is not as customizable or user friendly with some other platforms such as Google Drive (which we use heavily). Also there are multiple levels within each subcategories that you need to drill into if your searching something specific e.g. "Marketing". This can be overwhelming…

Pros
  • Searching across folders instead of separate searches per folder gives an at a glance overview about how many items exist under any given groupings / categories
  • And now i know why google drive doesn't support hierarchical organization well enough yet
Cons
  • Almost never
