My reptiles loved it

All 4/5 of my kites loved it, great option for winter and don't want to risk sending live bugs. She loved my blue tongue too. But the smell is TERRIBLE. I've used canned snails to a greater extent in the past and they didn't smell as awful as this one. 5/5 reptile in my opinion, 5/5 for lightness but 1/5 for smell. But what do you expect, it's dead bugs in a jar.

Could have saved my chameleon!

Unfortunately, my chameleon accidentally bit off his tongue (yes, graphically, I know) and won't eat crickets anymore. I could feed him that with wooden tongs. Sometimes I'll dip one of these in water or a calcium supplement to give Cham the nutrients it needs. Silkworms smell terribly to us, but he loves them. Make sure you keep the jar in the fridge after opening and throw it away after two weeks if not fully used (one week is recommended). This product saved my poor cat and I'm actually glad

Monstrous Worms! Very important!

I don't like keeping live food, can beetles are a great alternative for me. My boy usually gets crickets and locusts (along with lots of veggies, fruits, vitamins) but I wanted to get something special for his upcoming birthday. These silk works are HUGE! Easily 10 times larger than anything I've found live in stores. They are big enough that I can still feed them to my special needs/spoiled bearded dragons. I wouldn't recommend them for those keeping small reptiles/frogs like anoles or geckos…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
