The 0x OTC lets two parties connect and communicate directly. It’s simple and quite easy to use. All you have to do is send a link to your counterparty to generate and send the order. The order can be sent using any communication channel you prefer – email, text messages, social media or even pen and paper. I think with that said, whether the price of the ZRX token will rise high and prove as a lucrative investment for crypto investors remains to be seen.
Pros
- Though the 0x project uses the concepts of a Decentralized Exchange there are plenty of differences and added features. 0x overcomes the major challenges of DEXs – slow transactions, expensive and difficulties in interacting with other crypto exchanges. 0x aims to overcome these issues by using a standard protocol. This protocol is applied to all orders on the blockchain. One of the major differentiators of this protocol is that all orders go back to the blockchain at the time of settlement instead of at every transaction.
Cons
- No problem, The 0x project has got its mission right. Moving to decentralized exchanges seems like the next logical step. Also, the 0x project addresses some of the major flaws with existing crypto exchanges. Also, the versatility and easy availability of the 0x project makes industry leaders hope that the project will grow quickly. This will lead to the creation of other similar exchanges on the Ethereum blockchain.
