The BitTorrent project is said to be the brain child of Cohen and has been in existence since the 2000s before being acquired by the Sun Organization thus making it a decentralized project. The project has really gained a whole level of popularity among users today especially due to the intervention of Tron in running the project. The BitTorrent is a streaming service that allows users to share and get access to files, the use of its native TRC-10 token can be used to pay for services like increasing torrent speed and renting storage.
From my write-up, it indicates that BitTorrent is a great project to make use of and for me to interact with its Android app and be highly dismayed was not something I expected. It's app is ridden by intrusive ads which makes it hard for me to operate. I don't reckon with the app as I saw a premium section is needed to remove those ads. I also tried searching out a file to download in which I was redirected to my browser and as I was trying to initiate a download, I kept on being bogged down by this ads. Even the user interface of the Android application is hard for me to wrap my head around thus makes this the worst crypto related project I have ever interacted with
Despite its shortcomings in my view, it's streaming platform Dlive has a staking feature in which I was able to stake my BTT tokens with a good APR of 25% yearly. The BTT token being a TRC-10 token is also good for making speedy and zero cost transactions as free bandwidth can be used to pay for transaction fees and it's low cost and volatility makes it ideal for that. As for my negative views I don't really know if it was so applies when using desktops but using an Android is really not rewarding and I hope more will be put into in place to make it easier to use and understand
