We all know about Dogecoin based on a meme and we have witnessed the true potential of a decentralized network that gave value to a currency that had no support and was meant to be a joke.
Jesus coin (JC) is something similar to that but even more absurd than Dogecoin. The Jesus coin which was based on Ethereum made some absurd promises to its users like it is the coin of "god" and trading with it meant direct transaction with god. They also claimed that investing in this coin will free users from their sins and save them from hell. This coin toyed with the faith and beliefs of people and no wonder it died in the market soon enough.
Surprisingly, Jesus coin did have some followers and maybe some blindly religious investors fell for it. It tried to raise millions through its ICO but most people were not stupid enough to fall for it. Still it managed to scam some people of their investments.
Currently, JC is totally inactive in the market and there is no way to reach to its creators. Its website is down and the social networks are inactive for more than a year. It is labeled inactive by Coinmarketcap and Coingecko so it would be best to stay away from such scam.
