Overall Ontology is a promising project as the team is being led by experienced members but, as the project is new it will take some time for developers to adopt the platform for developing Dapps. Also, the consensus mechanism used is kinda experimental and only time will tell if everything works as expected.
Pros
- * A lot of hype for the Project. * Good team and experienced developers. * Active github. * Connection with Neo team and developers.
Cons
- * The consensus mechanism (VBFT) which is an improved version of PoS used is considerably new and so not time-tested. * Not many Dapps operating on Ontology. * Not many companies using Ontology as of now.
