Review on PlayCoin [QRC20] by Othere Obtentus
An unsuccessful project
PlayCoin was created by Gamehub which is an online platform to facilitate relationships between gamers, creators and advertisers. Gamehub is an online gaming ecosystem with an objective to change traditional gaming monopolies through blockchain technology for mobile games download and online marketing without middlemen. PlayCoin was created as a digital currency for Gamehub ecosystem to help both game developers and and online influencers to earn more profit.
Currently, there is no practical application of the currency and it has no utility to surge any demand. It is featured as an 'Untracked Listing' in Coinmarketcap and has no trading value either. Its value saw some rise only in the beginning but since then it is only on a downward trend. Due to its previous lack of success, it was rebranded with a new name PlayX. It failed to fulfill the claims it made during ICO and is not listed on any exchanges right now. Its inactivity in social networks and lack of any updates on the project make it a faliure of a project.
