From investment perspective it has been real good for early investors. With such low transaction time it may be favoured by many to use it more. Overall a good token for payment purpose for general use. Also backing of banks to use the Ripple network for International funds transfer should make people more aware oof it and increase adopters.

Pros
- One of the fastest transaction execution time. With quite a few banks already willing to use its network provides authenticity to the project. Also recent tie up with Lian Lian(Vhinese payment provider) may foster its growth.
Cons
- May not be considered as a cryptocurrency in truest term by many. Banks and other institutions may try to build similar mechanism of their own which might affect it (though I personally don't think it will matter much).
