They make it easy for anyone to submit a proof formally to any person. This can be a picture of a scratch in your car, a wet floor where you have slipped and broke your foot after which you can give to your insurance company that the accident was true. It can be proven as an authenticator or even after proving that something happened later. So there is a debate on whether you sign in to any document and sign in and the experts are debating whether it is true or valid, but you have an app that can do this on your phone. Therefore no more costs when in need to prove something.
Pros
- Confirming the existence of the event is a perfect use case of blockchain technology. Because of the unauthorized and ineffective nature of any blockchain information that is stored, no party can debate about "what happened". Silent Notary are taking a very simple concept and running with it. I did not see the huge amount of effort in this model.

- This is a business to business strategy that I find very interesting. Resellers for branding will be offering white-label notary tools and white label promotion tools. It is a great way to get simple information / event storage requirements using the Blackchain technology to get a silent notary platform for customers.
