Fast and Cheap Stellar
Stellar Lumens (XML) is a Blockchain-based payment system that connects international financial systems such as banks and other payment platforms with customers.
Current international payment systems can be both very costly and slow. With the Stellar network, it is aimed to make fiat currency and cryptocurrency payments and international transfers in a faster, lower-cost and safer manner. Although they are similar to Ripple (XRP) in this respect, there are technically obvious differences between them.
While Ripple has a structure for more institutions, Stellar aims to deliver this service to people living in parts of the world that cannot receive banking services, as well as working for institutions. Also, Ripple has a centralized network while the Stellar network is decentralized. Besides, Stellar is built in such a way that different projects can be developed on its network.
