🐾 Melissa & Doug Wooden Animal Puzzle Review

I was looking for the first jigsaw puzzle for my 1 year old and I'm glad I chose it. The handles are big enough to fit in his small hands. He finds it easy to place animals on the board without getting frustrated. It's also a good resource for teaching him animal names. We play the song "Old McDonald Had a Farm". and he points to every animal featured in the song. It is very durable, of excellent quality and has withstood the rough treatment of my little ones very well.

I bought this for my little niece and her mom called me in a panic; She said the game had a huge piece of wood on the sides of the toy. This was the length of the toy from the top of the board. This puzzle keeps my daughter hooked for ten minutes each day, and the sense of accomplishment she gets each time she matches them correctly is so lovely to see. It took her a few days to get it and after that she was keen to put the parts back in place. I like the giant pen idea. it's so easy to hold with both hands.
