Updated review of previous 5 star review

This blanket has very solid construction, easy to use controls and meets all my expectations. If there is a concern, it may be because using it in winter without a blanket (Northern Washington) allows heat to escape. . Now, at the end of August, it doesn't heat at all. I can throw blankets over it as an insulator but nothing. Now it's just a blanket. Update September 12, 2020: Still no word from the manufacturer, Sunbeam or Revain. I spent a total of $159 on this electric blanket. This lasted 6

Nice choice! on blankets and plaids

I spent a week shopping for the best electric blanket for my bed. I've looked at heated mattress pads, water heated mattress pads, electric blankets, etc. I finally decided on this one. I have a king bed, but I prefer a queen comforter because I put it on top of all my sheets and not under the comforter. The color is perfect. I know the lighting can make a big difference with the colors, but in my room it's slate blue (gray blue). A few people have mentioned the large tag on the duvet and since

His and Hers Remote Controlled Heated Blanket

I bake hot all the time. My husband is ALWAYS cold. His knees and feet are always cold, even in summer. We had a Queen Sunbeam with its own remotes, but we bought the King and it just didn't match the hubs. So that. Revain is here to help. I find this jewel. It's super soft and one person can quench the heat, but to me it's like a different blanket. My husband loves it so he can keep warm in the winter and I love it because I don't have to turn on my side if I don't want to. I love the fact…

So comfortable, dual controls

After I received this and my husband napped in it, we bought him another one. We have a king size bed, but we have our own duvets, no need to fight for duvets. The blanket is so soft. I will shame the princess and the pea. Every night I vacuum our bed in case something is missing. My pillows should be just like that. I cut out all the tags from the clothes. I just have very sensitive skin. I used to have an electric blanket and loved it, but I could feel those wires. Between the plush feel of…

Beware he slides and crawls all night

The photo shows him slipping out of bed at 2am. Had to go back because he would NOT stay on the bed! I sleep in a cold room and love the idea of having two temperature control zones! But I woke up twice every night because when you roll over, the blanket slips under the blanket and takes the sheet and blanket with it, not you! The duvet is too slippery and slides all over the bed. Even making peace in the morning is a struggle. Tighten it on one side, it will slip off when straightened on the…

Great duvet well worth the price.

All in all a fantastic duvet. I would recommend and buy again in the future. A solid 5 from me as it suits my needs perfectly. First, it's bad. The cord that goes to the controls is long enough to attach under the bed, but I can see that this can be an issue with some bed frames. It would be better if they were separate instead of tied together. Another oddity is that the king size quilt has a dead zone in the middle. This is perfect for me as it keeps our dog from overheating, but if you're…
