First of all they look great and match the style of my home better than any other TV cabinet I could find. I was a bit nervous putting them together due to some of the negative reviews, but found it easier than expected. In this case, you will definitely need a proper screwdriver (even with a regular handle, not necessarily an electric one). I'm not sure I could use the IKEA style you receive. The holes were all well aligned, they just aren't very deep so it takes a bit of effort to get the screws in if you're not using power, but nothing major. Some of them are a little wobbly but that's to be expected with any TV tray, they're still strong enough to be used and eaten on a regular basis. Overall they are a good height for eating and look great in my living room. We use them every day!
