Review on Enhanced Performance EGR Valve - Standard Motor Products EGV384 by John Mejia

-EDIT- I got a replacement and found some problems. I'll go into more detail below. I replaced my EGR valve because I received an error code indicating the center pin would not open. It turned out that the seal was also leaking, resulting in intermittent backlights. It worked fine. After 3 days I got an error code saying the big needle on this one is not opening. I tested it and it failed. I think I'll try to get a replacement. I received a free replacement from Revain. I plugged it in and it worked for a week and then I got the same error code. I did OBD on my car and the solenoid opens sometimes. which is strange. I pull the plug out of the connector, compare the connector to my own and notice that the pins in the socket are noticeably wider than the original. Approx. 33% wider, causing the contacts in the plug to be bent. In the end I took the plug and restored it. It seems to be working now, but I still have to repot the connector occasionally.
