We received the lamp and installed it according to the instructions. This light was installed in our rarely used guest room. After 3 months we smelled electric smoke in the house. We traced it to the guest room and found that the light had stopped working. When I took the flashlight apart, electrical burns were visible along the LED strip and the wires shorted out, rendering the flashlight inoperable. This is a very serious electrical safety issue. The wiring was inadequate, and the installation of the lights put stress on the strip, contributing to the short. I have contacted the manufacturer but no response. I'll update if I get an answer, but be careful! The seller contacted him within 12 hours and sent a new LED strip. Will continue to update after receiving the LED and decide if that solves the problems.
