The fan ran constantly day and night but the fans were so noisy. This air cooler is great because we can finally sleep and feel cool at the same time! I highly recommend using cold water and ice boxes or just laying ice. What matters is the cold air coming out of it. I live in an apartment so there isn't much space and this cooler is so compact and thin. Like the design. Comes with casters so I can move it around easily. Easy to clean as there are no blades.
