The lid came with it and I couldn't get the lid off so I had to cut it off so now I didn't have a lid which was one of the reasons I bought this and then came the icing sugar came out too thick and there was a puff of air in the air, just awful, unhappy with that later, I tried sprinkling on top of the cake, you have to do it lightly and sideways and then it's so ok, don't tip it all the way around and shake it then it will see thick for powdering shake on the side very light for powdering something sticks to the mesh just rub the glass i covered with plastic not so bad it will be ok
