Review on 🍱 Bentgo Kids Children's Lunch Box: Fun and Functional Mealtime Companion by Aaron Fowler

I love this box but I have to give 2 stars because both buckle clasps broke after only 3 months of use. It's too expensive a box to last the school year. If it hadn't broke I would have given 5 stars. UPDATE: After I wrote this review, the company sent me a replacement. The review continues below. Here are a few considerations: A typical lunch I would pack would be: half a sandwich half a sliced apple handful of berries baby carrots marshmallow This is the perfect meal for my little 5 year old. A child eating adult portions will need a large box. This will protect your child from rubbish. You just open and eat what's in the box. It CAN fit in a bottle of Danimal (tiny yogurt) OR a small granola bar in the second largest compartment, leaving room for half a sandwich in the largest. BUT you can't just throw away prepackaged (or unpackaged) food without considering its size. I had to bring a bento bag for this after seeing how awkward it was for him to carry that and a juice box with no handle. The bag I received fits the box snugly and I have to push the juice box in for it to fit. But she zips. I love this box but am very disappointed that the plastic tab holding the latches broke. He uses it anyway, but if he opens his bag the wrong way, the contents are no longer safe. The food spills out. UPDATE: Before the company sent me a replacement, I ordered a locking lid to fit the same bento tray. I like this solution more because it leaves more room in the juice bag.
