Good functionality but surprisingly fragile

Really good functionality. was definitely my daughter's favorite. As long as it lasted It's only been 3 months since we ordered it (and we've had over 2 types that we rotated a week - so the service was about twice a week and the sinks we always hand washed thoroughly based on all the comments here possible mold growth), the small plastic tabs on the hinge have given way. The first to wash. and the second when I was studying it to understand why it came loose. Easily identified as a weak point…

Best lunch box for little hands

I have been a very satisfied user so far (in 4 months). My 4 year old can easily open the box without help and I love that the top lid stays attached to the base. I love how I can divide portions without spilling them on top of each other and only have one piece to clean up at the end of the day. I also bought a bento box (another similar one on Amazon) and the bengo definitely wins! -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Report update: We used this lunch box 5 days a

Read about good and bad below.

Have bought 5 of these lunch boxes in the last 2 years, 2 are still in use. Pros: You can pack a variety of items without getting tons of dishes dirty every day. For this reason, many parents in kindergarten wanted to know where I got it from. Bad: Moldy seals and broken latches. After a month, at least a few small spots of mold can contaminate the rubber seal. These bins are in intense rotation and quickly empty. The broken locks are the result of the daycare staff locking them, not rough…

Great for kids with fine motor delays

I ordered these after researching which lunch box was best for my 5 year old who is starting Kindergarten in August. We want to practice the lunch routine earlier as she has cerebral palsy, gets speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy as a preschooler and needs a lot more help with things a typical 5 year old doesn't need as much help with. She can't open bags so I love how this one was divided up and my biggest concern was if she could pull a bengo box out of her lunch box…

Great box but the clasps are broken 😟

I love this box but I have to give 2 stars because both buckle clasps broke after only 3 months of use. It's too expensive a box to last the school year. If it hadn't broke I would have given 5 stars. UPDATE: After I wrote this review, the company sent me a replacement. The review continues below. Here are a few considerations: A typical lunch I would pack would be: half a sandwich half a sliced apple handful of berries baby carrots marshmallow This is the perfect meal for my little 5 year old.

Bentgo Kids or Yumbox. What is better?

If you're hesitant about which bento box to order for your child (BENTGO KIDS or YUMBOX), I'm comparing the two brands in this review. My family have been using both for about a month **BENTGO KIDS** My 5 year old takes this box for lunch and in my opinion it really is the best choice for YOUNG KIDS. It has a more youthful color scheme, five small product compartments, a DURABLE RUBBER COATING top and bottom, and overall is a higher quality product that will take more abuse than the Yumbox. The
