Review on 🍱 Bentgo Kids Children's Lunch Box: Fun and Functional Mealtime Companion by John Salleh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for kids with fine motor delays

I ordered these after researching which lunch box was best for my 5 year old who is starting Kindergarten in August. We want to practice the lunch routine earlier as she has cerebral palsy, gets speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy as a preschooler and needs a lot more help with things a typical 5 year old doesn't need as much help with. She can't open bags so I love how this one was divided up and my biggest concern was if she could pull a bengo box out of her lunch box, open it easily and then pack it back up. easy. She is also very picky and easily chokes on her food. I wrapped her lunch for eating when she comes home from school in a bengo box and then in a lunch box just like she would eat at school. So far she's been able to get it out of the lunchbox and open it fairly easily. Closing is a bit more difficult as she can't remember how to press it down before snapping it shut, but she will learn with practice. I've only hand washed it and it seems fine but we've only used it 4 times. She also gives very good advice on taking it out of the lunch box and the applesauce doesn't leave its tray at all which is nice. I would definitely recommend this for preschoolers or any child who is delayed with fine motor skills.
