As many have said, Sanus makes great TV mounts and you would think that purchasing this flush mount box would be a no-brainer and you can expect the quality of their mounts. NOT CORRECT! There are several issues with this product: 1) Cutout Pattern: As previously mentioned, the cutout pattern provided is completely wrong. The box has ribs that expand beyond certain template dimensions. You'll need to slightly trim off about 0.5 inch more on each side. Also, the tabs that rotate 90 inches and attach the box to the drywall protrude from a certain area. They may also require some additional incisions. 2) Oversized Insert: The included cable management insert for small device/adapter installation and cable management is not manufactured to the correct tolerances and as a result can easily bend inside the case in cases. It's clear it wasn't made to specifications! Mine too was covered in a horrible oily coating from the manufacturing facility that punches tiny square holes in this insert. not good! 3) Useless mount: They provide you with a mount to use their proprietary "ECO-mini" surge protector. A quick search will reveal that Sanus discontinued this product a long time ago. Probably because they didn't specialize in it and it had terrible reviews. Long story short, their engineers obviously didn't think it through and didn't do field installs with it! Do not worry. Terrible build quality!
