Review on Versatile TRINITY 3-in-1 Stainless Steel Suitcase Toolbox: A Perfect Companion for Storage and Travel Needs by Robert Norris

This was not the tool set I was looking for

I hate writing bad reviews. I think it's ok for light items, but not for mechanic's or woodworker's tools. I was hoping to use this to store my small hand tools in one place for frequent commuting to work. While Trinity gives the appearance of stainless steel, the metal present is actually decorative paneling. ALL functional components throughout the block are plastic and very light cheap plastic. The large volume of the three drawers contributes to a large load, so all my wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, etc. made it to the top. The middle drawer is ideal for drill indexes and measuring tools. The lower basket contained cordless drills, a saber saw and planers. The slow decay of my 3-in-1 trinity started right after I downloaded all those things. The first time I grabbed the handle to wheel it to my car, the handle broke! I reassembled it, but soon the telescope function failed. After a few months of brief use - the thing just wasn't functional enough for realistic use - the handle broke off completely, leaving the rig virtually immobile. If it were a suitcase, it wouldn't have withstood the first baggage check, let alone typical workplace use. Any plastic fasteners that hold the three boxes together just fall off. You can reattach them, but they come off so easily and often that some of mine are now missing. The middle drawers have a clumsy locking mechanism that's cheap and difficult to use, even with strong hands. Trinity 3-in-1 Tool Box A tool box big enough to hold many things but so imperfect in design that it's only good for light loads. I see tools for knitting, sewing, fly fishing, or jewelry making, but the total load can't exceed about 20 pounds, and even then the main functions break. A strong, attractive, oversized solution for mobile craftsmen, but only suitable for very light work. After only a few months of use, this is a write-off for me and I will be buying something else entirely.
