When I first ordered them I didn't know what to expect. The price was quite high for a rubber/foam shoe. Will they be clumsy like Crocs? Would you be comfortable? I decided to take a chance after another pair of espadrilles wore out. I need beach shoes that can be worn 4 blocks from the beach while on vacation. There's nothing worse than trudging off the beach in wet, sandy canvas sneakers. However, wearing flip flops while walking on the sidewalk or riding a bike is not very good. I'm happy to say that they don't just feel great. they look great too! They're made of foam. They have a slightly ribbed insole, which is very comfortable when walking. Almost reassuring. They don't hang around like Crocs. They fit more like running shoes. fitted figure and maybe a bit narrow. I wear a men's size 12 on some boots and a men's 13 on others. 12 was the largest men's shoe size this company makes. They fit perfectly, maybe a little tight for men's shoes. they don't slip and fit almost like socks. I'm not sure I'll be wearing them on a long flight. But for walking around town they are great and easy to put on and take off when the elastic stretches. I'd say if you're wearing snug-fitting sneakers, you won't have a problem with that. If you like really loose clogs, crocs or slippers then they may seem too big for you in terms of fit. The color is light cream. They look great with shorts or jeans. Looking at them, I didn't realize they were made of foam rubber. In terms of style, you can wear them to a bar or casual restaurant just as easily as they can on the deck of a boat or at the beach. It really is the perfect shoe for vacations. durable, well ventilated and comfortable. You can hose them down or walk on the water as they have vents on the sides and the foam can be washed with a hose or outside shower. Whether or not they break through sunlight is another story. I think I'll find out over time, but so far they seem to be well made. The only thing is that they seem to attract dirt, so keeping them white can be a problem. The bottom line is, if you're looking for a pair of sneakers, all-purpose street shoes, rather than flip-flops or pumps, they're worth the money. I'm surprised how much I like her. I will wear them all summer.
