It took me 5 hours to install, mainly because I wanted everything to be symmetrical. The longest part was making sure all the cables work and I have enough room and space for everything. The actual wiring was very simple. I got everything working with the extensions they provided. That's why I chose this kit. I got it working on a Dodge Ram 1500. I ran 2 extensions from the control box to the wire harness and made it a hub under the middle of the truck. Then I used the remaining extension cords and reached out to wherever I needed it. I ended up with 2 supplements. People who say you can't use this without additional extensions are wrong. It is not difficult to connect and make. It's not an easy task to tidy up all the cables and attach the pods to the underside of the cart. I used a self tapping metal screw, made holes throughout the frame and secured with a small screw. It was frustrating because everything was so small, but everything was attached securely and looks very nice. I give 5 stars because it works as it should. It's not an overly bright camp. But bright enough. I see getting 4 to 8 more to add under the wheel arches. I would highly recommend this kit as it comes with a very responsive keychain which I really enjoy using.
