The stand has a spring loaded clip to hold the monitor. This can also be used to hold the phone. The monitor cover will interfere with the clamp and prevent it from being clamped 100%. Has vesa holes on both monitor and lid that can be duplicated as a stand. Has 2 USB-C and HDMI Mini for input and 3.5 inch audio output. The lid does not detach from the monitor, which allows it to 100% interfere with the tablet holder, but it is enough to hold it. My only concern is that it could just slip out and the monitor could fall.
