I don't like working on the go because I miss an ultra wide monitor on my desktop. I've been thinking about buying a portable monitor for a long time and decided to give it a try. Great, now I can do my job really comfortably and don't have to lug around anything other than a thin monitor and a short cable. Gone are the days of waiting to get home to work on spreadsheets and computer design. Evaluation: The monitor works fine in single-cable mode, although it is not recommended to increase the brightness above 80% in this mode. I found it 80% brighter than my laptop at max brightness. Adding an AC adapter and cranking the brightness up to 100% makes a noticeable difference (especially on the outside), although I've also run it at 100% with just one cord (against all warnings). Unlike the display on my laptop, the monitor can be used outdoors. The magnetic case works great and stays in place well. It is easy to detach and attach, offers protection and has 2 different screen positions. I use the display almost exclusively with a bag because I carry the monitor in my backpack. The stand is nice and works well, but I don't have space for a stand when I travel, so it stays on my desk when I use the monitor on my desk. I love the look of the sandblasted metal, it repels fingerprints and looks smooth. The VESA screw holes also mean this monitor can be mounted on a monitor arm if you really want it and it makes a good second monitor. The brightness/volume control lever doubles as a knob and wasn't obvious at first. . Pressing the lever opens the monitor settings so you can adjust the image. The power button acts as a back button and turns off the display if held down for a few seconds. Speaking of the picture, the monitor is too desaturated for my taste out of the box, so I boosted the colors a bit to achieve the desired brightness. The bezels are small and the monitor is generally the same size as my 14-inch laptop. The speakers are about as good as any monitor speaker. They have clean highs but almost no mids and no bass at all, they are crisp and quite loud. for video calls or YouTube videos. This is a good addition for devices without speakers. The headphone jack also lacks bass and mids, and the sound is muddy. All in all, I'd say these two features are better than nothing, but I won't be using them. Lots of Pros: Slim, easy to carry Bright Comfortable Customizable (especially with case and stand included) All cables included (decent quality) Power adapter included Good resolution Sleek design Cons: Micro HDMI is a notoriously bad connector that isn't reliable Speakers are quite a bit worse Audio quality connection The sound is poor. Conclusion: I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a stylish second monitor. It's big enough to be useful but small enough to fit in most backpacks. This monitor has completely changed. how I work on the go and has enabled me to complete tasks much faster and easier.
