I'll start this review by saying that I never write reviews! I am an active duty Army officer with limited time. I'm on vacation for shoulder surgery and our grinder passed away a week and a half ago. I decided to look into coffee grinders because until I moved in with my fiancee at 48, I had never ground my coffee except at the time of purchase in a store. I love good coffee and even the french press. My other half came with a meat grinder and I had a HATE relationship with her. It was noisy and most of all it was a disaster when we got to the ruins. NO MATTER WHAT. I have a cute nickname - I'm in the army, remember? The research got me learning more about grinders (I was dying to know at the time) and how much time people seem to have to write reviews (offended). I was in analysis paralysis. I finally said "f" and bought it, thinking it was a known good brand and I would send it back. This mill is a dream! It's quiet and CLEAN, and the grind is perfect. I can even just put a filter basket underneath to grind while I grind and none of the grist ends up on my table. Lots of settings. Easy to use. So happy. I will never write a review again, but it was worth the effort. In a week I'll be back at work and I'll be sucked into a whirlpool. 😊
