I had the previous version of the Bed Buddy for over 10 years. It was my go to compress for my headaches and backaches. I’d toss it in the freezer and it would chill down in under an hour. Here’s the important part…it retained the coolness for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, after all those years it started to shed the stuffing and I’d find some dust from the product on my couch after using it. I figured it was time to replace it.The new version of the product has MUCH LESS stuffing. It also doesn’t stay cold for long. The fact is that it doesn’t get very cold at all. It was a total disappointment and I returned it for a refund.I took someone’s advice and filled a tube sock with long grain rice and put it In the freezer for an hour. The rice sock is currently resting on my head and I’m pleased to report that it’s still cold after 45 minutes. CHEAP AND GOOD!
