I love my bed buddy. It works well to relieve aches and pain and it does it surprisingly well. It molds to my neck (or shoulder or back etc) and puts the heat right where it's needed. Highly recommended .

This is extremely sturdy compared to other versions. I like the handles and the cotton fabric. It’s like the old tube socks cotton knit. However, the cover isn’t removable so if something spills or it just gets dirty from use it can’t be cleaned well. Not sure if this is a pro or con but it smells like popcorn when first removed from the microwave!

I purchased this for using on my lower back. I’m using on my neck for pain relief. I thought at first it had an unpleasant odor but have decided it basically has no or little odor. Holds heat for quite awhile.

This thing works wonderfully. Really easy to use and really effective at soothing muscle aching. It lasts a decent amount of time, and we just keep ours in the junk drawer in the kitchen and just microwave it a few minutes whenever we need. Fantastic product. It works better and seems to penetrate deeper than just the chemical-based warm patches and icy hot.

This bed buddy was amazing except it has lit on fire twice when using it in the microwave. Don’t go too far when heating and id recommend only heating it for 1 minute because ours almost started a full blown fire when set for 2 min. Other than that it was great and super soft and flexible. I’ll probably try a different one next time though. Only because of the fire issue.

This Bed Buddy heats up well and stays hot. It is perfect for my neck and upper back pain, adding just the right amount of heat with NO awful odor.

While the quality has slightly lessened for the last 15 years, it is still a must have for me. I don’t trust electric heating pads or blankets and this is so portable. I have a 1200 watt microwave and always heat it at 1:20, and as it gets older I make sure to carefully place it in the microwave to prevent burning by overlapping. I don't believe there is any fragrance in this product, so I couldn't review that. It works well for relieving neck strain when heated and can be used on other body areas too.Since you can't wash it, I made a washable sleeve to slide over it. Another idea is to cut off the toe from a pair of worn men's stockings and slide them from each side, overlapping them in the middle. It's not the prettiest solution, but it is easy and cost effective!

It’s cheap and helps with weight for a headache. But if you freeze it, the cold lasts for maybe 5-10 minutes. Definitely works better being heated up. But even then, there aren’t enough beads inside. So the beads tend to spread away from the middle and it’s hard to really get the distribution right.

This is my 4th heat log in 6 years. They do wear out & I burned one in the microwave when it wasn't turning while heating! Moist warmth is so relaxing to shoulders, neck, knees, back. 1 minute to heat & 20 min of relief. Better than a pill.
