Review on Backup Systems by Jeremy Hudson

The ability to set up scheduled jobs that run at regular intervals is very useful as this helps me keep my servers backed up regularly without having too much work myself! I would like there be more options available when it comes down scheduling backups - perhaps some sorta wizard? As well i wish they had an option where you could schedule multiple different types or sizes/formats (ebs volumes etc) rather than just one type only which can sometimes make things difficult if your server has lots going wrong but needs backing up urgently egs. If all else fails then maybe its time they went back into their old days of using tape media instead :) Have been able to restore from point A to B quickly after accidental deletion / corruption issues by simply restoring via snapshot taken before any problems occurred.
