When the bulb is on everything is fine - good colour, bright enough. But the light sensor is too sensitive. The lamp turns on long before it gets dark enough to need light and stays on longer than necessary in the morning. In comparison, our LEPOWER safety light with light sensor is activated at more appropriate times when we feel we really need light. It seems that synchronizing the light shortens the life of the lamp since it is on much longer than we actually want. I can manually turn the switch on and off, but that defeats the purpose of buying these lamps. I won't be returning, I wonder how long they will last.
