Enhanced Outdoor Lighting: Sensor Filament Equivalence for Optimal Illumination Review

Before ordering these lamps I tried an adapter with a built in photocell. The device turned on in the dark but didn't always turn off in daylight. I bought these lamps to replace adapters. NO MATTER! These lamps themselves capture the daylight and turn on and off at the right time. Because they are LED bulbs, they use very little power and offer a bright, classic filament look. If you are looking for a solution for outdoor lighting from morning to night, buy these lamps.

I used a twilight adapter with a small bulb in my pole mounted light. The bulbs never lasted long, the adapters were bulky and very slow. The bulbs are much better - energy efficient LEDs, look better than frosted bulbs and have a built in dimmer switch. They work so fast I put one on the porch light, which is usually off unless I'm late. I can turn it on at night and it will light up in a second, or leave it on and it stays off during the day. When the bulb is on everything is fine - good colour, bright enough. But the light sensor is too sensitive. The lamp turns on long before it gets dark enough to need light and stays on longer than necessary in the morning. In comparison, our LEPOWER safety light with light sensor is activated at more appropriate times when we feel we really need light.
