Review on MOLLE Hydration System MultiCam 8465 01 580 1316 by Paul Wilson

I bought this to replace my old camel (it eventually broke and the wearer has seen better days too) and sort of out of a sense of nostalgia. I guess some of the cheaper ones here have a weird bite valve that you have to pull out to use. This one fits my TA-50 kit perfectly (although I used my own camel calf anyway, it also seems rude for the army to reissue) and has a proper bite valve, the old camel cistern style. If you plan on using this in very hot or cold weather I would suggest adding an insulated snorkel. In hot weather, your first sips can be warm even with ice in your pocket, and it can freeze in the snorkel if it's cold enough.
