A standard question is sometimes good enough.

It's cheap compared to other options. The construction turned out to be solid (I abused that at Fort Benning, believe me). It's versatile in the sense that it has backpack-like straps and D-rings in case you want to attach it to your MOLLE gear. It's also easier to fill than some other models. It also comes with a mini pen clip so you can clip it to the front of your shirt, backpack or whatever to keep your hydration tube from dangling.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Fixed straps

Can be attached to the plate carrier with the supplied D-rings, but the rear straps are not removable and therefore must be attached from below. I got a star because at this price point the straps should be better for removal, especially given the customer base. The bubble is INTEGRATED, so don't pop it. To its credit it seems to be quite durable and the hose is longer than any other bladder brand I've owned. The mouthpiece valve is a switchable valve a few inches in front of the mouthpiece…

Correct system Milspec

I bought this to replace my old camel (it eventually broke and the wearer has seen better days too) and sort of out of a sense of nostalgia. I guess some of the cheaper ones here have a weird bite valve that you have to pull out to use. This one fits my TA-50 kit perfectly (although I used my own camel calf anyway, it also seems rude for the army to reissue) and has a proper bite valve, the old camel cistern style. If you plan on using this in very hot or cold weather I would suggest adding an…

Works great, doesn't leak, cools the water.

Arrived on time, works great. It doesn't leak and the plastic bladder is removable for cleaning, it comes with a mouthpiece cap and a clip on a straw so it doesn't get in the way and it also comes with 4 Grimlock clips to attach and it's well insulated, I put it on, filled it with bottled water and ran 1 mile at 98 degrees and the water was still cool. Make sure you wash it very well as the straw will make the water taste bad for a while. If you plan to be outdoors for a long period of time…

Can be attached to body armor with the included D-rings, but the rear straps are not detachable, so you must attach them from below.
