DO NOT waste your money on this! I grew up with Black & Decker tools and love the combination of quality and low price. No longer. This random orbit sander has to be one of the worst "budget tool" purchases I've ever made. This poorly designed and underperforming tool is a useless piece of junk. The engine ports are of course cut into the main grip area. So when you hold the tool, you block these openings. The on/off switch is prominently located on the front end of the handle and there is nothing to prevent it from being accidentally pressed if the tool bumps into something. The only marking on the switch is microprinted on the switch's gray rubber cap, and it's almost impossible to see, meaning it's difficult to make sure the tool isn't on when you're trying to plug it in. It happened for the first time. I connected the thing to the network three times. Luckily this doesn't pose a huge safety risk as the grinder is so flimsy that I can stop it with my bare hand and not even get scratched. It won't even remove dried glue from aluminum, let alone significant sanding. It took me five minutes to round the edge of a 4 inch thick piece of Doug Fir. Save your money and buy from Ridgid, DeWalt, Makita, Bosch but not these guys. I will never buy from Black & Decker again.
