Review on πŸ”’ Secure Password Vault by Flex Graham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best offline password vault as far as I can tell, but I have a few concerns/wishes

For our most important passwords, I'm a big fan of offline password management. As of today (December 2017), as far as I can tell, this is the best offline password storage device out there, although it's pretty clunky. I have two of these and so far they have worked well as advertised. But given my concerns/wishes I've also been looking for better alternatives for a number of years with no success so far - but I'll update this review if I ever find it. ADVANTAGES: - Basically does what it says. It is a secure offline password/confidential information vault.- Each password entry supports multiple lines of text/special characters (limited but good). Low usage, at least a year).- I was able to safely (without data loss) change batteries (I carefully do this annually). - My 2 devices were reliable, so far apart (but some reviewers claim their devices failed and lost data). - Pretty good construction. CONS: - clunky UI and keyboard - editing entries is doable but tedious - limited 3 line display but I'd rather (and pay) for a bigger screen. - Nice construction, but I would prefer (and pay for) even better construction and quality. - Enough browsers complain that devices are broken, so DO NOT use them as the ONLY copy of important data. - Doesn't come with a case, although I found one from Revain that works pretty well. Verdict: Works well enough as advertised and I recommend ending this product, although I hope to upgrade to something better one day.
