Using MB Pro 13, released in the middle of 2015, I upgraded to this machine. I knew I was switching to a more powerful device class, and I expected a noticeable boost in performance. Taking a model with an i9 was an option, but the i9 has a high power consumption, and for my work circumstances, this is essential, so before making a purchase, consider whether you really need the extra 10–15% computing power at the expense of battery life. The computer is utilized equally at home and in the workplace. At home, you may charge it and transfer data and images via the USB hub on your LG 27UL850 display with just one wire. I don't see any drawbacks to switching to type-C exclusively; the industry is already moving away from type-A, and we have all the necessary adapters and peripherals. Strongly suggest you get it.
