Review on πŸ‘“ Eyejusters: Advanced Self-Adjustable Glasses in Sleek Stainless Steel Frame, Black by Amber Berry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but not great for vision

First good news: they work. They keep what the manufacturer promises. The frames feel solid and metallic. Surprisingly, the whole heavy-frame, multi-lens goggle weighs the same as my single focus goggles. Probably because the adjustable lenses are plastic and I have a single focus made of glass. The earcups have spring-loaded hinges for a more comfortable fit and less chance of damage from flexing. However, there are some problems: the lenses are small, and the adjustable feature requires the lens to be pushed to a middle position relative to your eye with progressively more force. As a result, the sweet spot of perfect vision is very small and only directly in front of you. Also, since you're looking through three plastic lenses, they're not as clear as a single-focus glass lens. The adjustment mechanism is not very smooth, but not so bad that it makes the glasses difficult to use either. They were obviously intended for a smaller person as well, as the nose pads are quite close together and slip off my nose easily, requiring frequent attention. Eventually I will leave her. As the day goes by and my eyes get tired, I can use these glasses to compensate and keep working. They're not very good, but they do the job and I find them useful.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
