Review on Safco Products 1209DE Alphabetter Erase Kids' Home Store by Aurora Lowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as described

The expected arrival window started on Friday. Late Wednesday afternoon, FedEx delivered a large box right to my front door. I picked it up Thursday morning. All parts were there. None were damaged or defective. The assembly instructions are clear and understandable. After a while I had a solid table for standing work. Its maximum height of 42 inches is ideal for me (6 feet). The table surface is large enough to accommodate a laptop and write on a full-fledged notepad next to it. It could hold a table lamp, as well as papers and supplies that accumulate around a home computer. The surface is cleared. The bookshelf is sturdy and large enough to hold two full-size American Heritage dictionaries. The table stays safe and stable even when I lean on it. The swinging footrest swings silently when you use it. A note on assembly: the screws can be hard to come by, and some screw in where it would be difficult to use a cordless screwdriver or even a thick, soft-handled screwdriver. You'll need a sturdy #2 Phillips screwdriver, a strong hand, and probably a good pair of leather work gloves. Excellent desk.

Pros
  • Dry Erase Simplicity. No draft paper required. Students simply use their dry-erase desktop to solve math problems or collaborate with classmates before cleaning up. The desktop is scratch, chemical, fire and impact resistant.
Cons
  • ill thought out
