NEW DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES CANNOT BE FULLY CHARGED UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN CHARGED (CHARGED AND DISCHARGED). Now for the review: Excellent charger, although I did not receive the device I ordered (with counter at the top, I received a device with a counter at the end), but the seller responded quickly and offered a fair solution. Much cheaper, lighter and float batteries as opposed to original or similar replacement batteries which cost 100 seconds more. .It is 18 amps and charges the batteries quickly, plugged in at night, the next morning the batteries are charged and serviced. I hope I never have to, but if possible I will buy the same device again from the same seller.
