I bought Muscle Feast Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate because I was looking for a grass fed isolate from hormone free cows and it was just what I needed. There were a lot of positive reviews, but I noticed that some of the more recent reviews spoke of a formula change that made it too sweet. So here's my take as someone who has used a lot of whey isolate products. Muscle Feast Vanilla Protein Powder mixes like any powder with relatively few ingredients, so not as good as with additional ingredients, but that's ok - I wanted fewer ingredients, more protein. The taste of stevia is very strong and overwhelming with its sweet and bitter taste. As a very regular stevia user, I know that I think stevia is too much, and it definitely was too much. But here's what I did about it. For every 20 grams of powder I add a slightly larger teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, that really takes the edge. And sometimes a teaspoon of light sour cream. And suddenly a protein drink is much more pleasant, even more pleasant. I tried the product with vanilla powder but didn't really like the end result. However, if you have one that you like, I'd say it's worth a try. I spoke to a very polite Muscle Feast rep about the overwhelming taste of stevia and the rep said some people had complained that the powder wasn't sweet enough. . They said that some users mix half unflavored powder and half vanilla, but that will also get rid of the vanilla flavor, which (to me) goes really well with cocoa powder. Another thing I wanted to point out is that Muscle Feast does not place certain information or symbols on your powder to inform potential users. For example, if you look at the questions on the product page, you will see that the milk comes from Germany. However, you will not find this on the bottle. And although the long paragraph on the bottle states that this product is undenatured, it is not prominently represented on the bottle. I'm happy with my cocoa powder setup with Muscle Feast Grass Fed Whey Protein Isolate and have ordered something unflavored to add to pancakes and bread. It's nice to have a reasonably priced product that meets all of my protein powder needs. My previous favorite is around $50 for ยฃ2 (Opportuniteas) and their chocolate contains sugar (I'm diabetic so I stay away from sugar) so the ยฃ2 Muscle Feast price is definitely a wallet-friendly option.
