Review on Eiechip 5PCS Waterproof Temperature Probe Thermometer DS18B20 1M: Reliable Measurement with Heat Resistance Thermal Cable by Delos Montano

Hello, I bought 5 for my Arduino Mega (and ESP8266 NodeMCU 12-E). I didn't realize how badly I wanted a "single-wire" communication protocol until I bought these thermistors, which are individually 8-bit addressable and waterproof (protected?) submersible temperature sensors. on 3 leg lines/cords. I tested them all to see which ones matched best in terms of temperature. I put them in an ice bath, in boiling water, in my coffee mug with cream and noted the temperature in Fahrenheit and found that 3 of them were very close in readings and the other 2 were a degree above and below average all temperatures. 5. Very reliable and responsive compared to other temperature sensors I've tried. with good properties (see data sheet). They did great outdoors this week. Report the temperature inside the chicken coop and outside when the temperature drops below zero. Other brand models and sensors (which I also tested for fun) stopped reporting low temperatures around 32F/0C. These DS18B20 sensors continued to push beyond the smaller sensors.
