Works as expected - temp and humidity

Obviously at this price point they don't use the original DS18B20 chips but they are accurate and work well for my application, particularly an Arduino temperature controller for brewing.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Easy. Exactly. Cheap.

They work great with my ESP8266. Simple single wire interface. For testing purposes, I'm temporarily monitoring the temperatures in my fridge and freezer, and so far so good.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Compatible

Okay, but check the end of the cable.

Ready to use with my Raspberry Pi and the Raspbian w1 driver. The only problem I had was that on some of them the inner insulation was damaged where the outer jacket was cut at the factory, causing the conductors to snap after being shuffled on the bench, I had to cut the cable and reconnect it unlocked.

Pros
  • Superb design
Cons
  • Zero

Works as it should, seems accurate

I don't have a calibrated source for 100% accuracy, but it's definitely good enough for my application. I measure air and water temperature for pool equipment, so I don't measure fractions of a degree. It reads within 1 degree of every other sensor I've compared to. It wasn't a big deal to get it working with your Raspberry Pi, just plug in and go (assuming you already have 1-wire enabled in the OS).

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad

Hello, I bought 5 for my Arduino Mega (and ESP8266 NodeMCU 12-E). I didn't realize how badly I wanted a "single-wire" communication protocol until I bought these thermistors, which are individually 8-bit addressable and waterproof (protected?) submersible temperature sensors. on 3 leg lines/cords. I tested them all to see which ones matched best in terms of temperature. I put them in an ice bath, in boiling water, in my coffee mug with cream and noted the temperature in Fahrenheit and found…

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Not sure

Okay, but check the end of the cable.

Works out of the box with my Raspberry Pi and Raspbian w1 driver. The only problem I had was that some of them had the inner insulation damaged where the outer jacket was cut at the factory and this caused the conductors to break after mixing. Bench I had to cut the cable and re-terminate.

Pros
  • DS18B20 temperature sensor chip, whose contacts are separated by a shrink tube, can prevent short circuits
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works well. Appears to be a high quality product.

I bought them to measure ambient temperature and they work stably and well. I'm writing this review to reveal the following: The factory heat shrink tubing is for show only. It has no self-adhesive backing and therefore offers very little weather protection. But the inside of this thing is well potted in stainless steel tubing, so for many applications it shouldn't matter. For my outdoor use, I took off the factory heat shrink tubing and put mine on an adhesive backing. It makes me happy, but…

Pros
  • This thermocouple is suitable for a wide temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
Cons
  • I don't remember

I have purchased several DS18B20 sensors over the past few years. Most of them, INCLUDING THIS, are counterfeit/counterfeit/cloned devices, not genuine Dallas/Maxim chips. You can initially tell they aren't from Maxim (formerly Dallas Semiconductor) unless the unique ID starts with '28' - the IDs from this recent purchase start with '01'. That doesn't mean they're bad at reading temperatures; You are doing well. But many of the clones don't allow you to run them in parasitic power mode and use…

Pros
  • Stainless steel sensor has accurate readings and high performance
Cons
  • Not sure
