Review on T2278F 8 Inch Offset Oxygen Sensor by Kenneth Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works fine but learn from my idiocy

This tool worked exactly as it should. Once you realize its effect completely changes the old rule of "right strong, left weak". Because the mechanism of the tool changes the expected performance of the ratchet, you tighten the ratchet to loosen it and vice versa. It can get very tight, so I recommend being patient and trying the tool at multiple angles before adding the ratchet. You're probably going to have very little range of motion if you're lying on your back, inches away from a ton of things to bang your head on, and you have to twist them really hard to pry them out. I had to replace 2 front O2 sensors on my 2002 Tundra (4.7L) and needed some WD-40 to loosen one while the other was coming off my own elbow grease. This tool and a reliable OEM replacement can save you. hundreds of dollars. when you're ready to get the job done.
