Review on 🪑 ACME Furniture Docila End Table in Walnut Finish – Model 80662 by Leslie White

Judging from the many bad reviews of the product, I should have guessed that I too would be a dissatisfied customer. where would i start The shipping box was badly dented as if it had spent many months in rough seas. The thinly lined styrofoam shattered into many pieces and hundreds of small styrofoam pebbles scattered. The instructions were written by a non-English speaking person. There were chips on the veneer but not in obvious places. You can't cover them up with a simple touch up stick because the damn thing isn't real wood! Now the fun part, to counterbalance the opening panel (not really necessary for this heavy table), you STUCK a 10kg piece of flat rock to the bottom shelf. When unpacking, of course, the stone fell on my leg. This design is beyond silly, but still worth the premium price. Also, there is a lot of glue rubbing all over the bottom of the shelf, and not just where the stone was glued. On the other hand I gave it 2 stars as it looks great in the dark and has the perfect dimensions I need. Haven't decided yet if I'm coming back. The big problem is packing it back into fragments of old cardboard. First online purchase of furniture; last online furniture purchase. If ACME Furniture Co., I'll be happy to send you photos.
