Review on 🩰 Comfort meets Flexibility: Capezio Split Sole Daisy 205 Ballet Shoe for Little Kid/Big Kid by Roberto Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Go full size up from actual measured street size.

We've only had them for a few weeks. She wears them 3 times a week and it's great! She wears great size 11 street shoes, some 11 1/2 shoes can work with little room to grow, and she even has a pair of 10 1/2 shoes that still work. She measures the perfect height of 11 inches and conforms to the rules of the rite of passage. More people should list these things as many moms claim their shoes are a certain size but are actually a size up because we buy "growth room" shoes. This child's actual height is 11. However we ordered 12 and they fit perfectly with just a little room to grow for a year if they don't stretch more with wear. Her foot measures exactly 6 and 3/4 inches. It has a normal size. I give this 5 stars because we got the ballerinas from her dance school and they were too big. I had her teacher pick her size at a 2 which is 3 full sizes too big. When tightened, they hurt her heel (Achilles) when she walked so badly, leaving deep marks because the rope was so tight. I live in Capezio Sance clothes so I decided to buy her these and they are perfect and don't hurt. We'll save the rest until she's grown, but I feel like I'll buy a Capezio anyway and sell the rest. My only complaint is that I have a hard time telling left from right!

  • Athletic
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
